Exclamation Over weight and need help

First, thank you for taking time to read this and helping me.

I'm 6.2 foot, and weigh 264.55 pounds. I'm over weight and I'm going to the gym tomorrow to get the body fat %.

I've been in and out of gym for the past 6 years. I was a personal instructor at my local gym for some years and was in good shape.

But now I'm over weight and looking to get back into shape fast... I love pumping iron!!!!

I have read that muscles burns fat faster that cardio exercises, and have done a lot of research on roids.

I confess, I once was a critic to roids myself, but that was due to lack of knowledge and gosip!!!! But after a month of intense research I now know that roids are a misunderstood drug.

So my question.... Do you recommend that I start with the Novice Cycles I found on this site: http://www.steroid.com/steroid_cycles.php

I have also read that ANAVAR is a fat burning roid and you will also keep the muscle that you have gained with out the side effects of test.

    Thank you,

Others with more experience than me will chime in, but I think you should get back into the groove before starting a cycle.

When you get down to about 15% bodyfat.

And cardio is the best way to burn fat. Do lots of it. You probably need to drop about 40-50lbs to get in the right state for any type of cycle.

My main goal right now is tightening up, so you and I are in the same boat. Unfortunately, it is the "cardo" boat...my least favorite kind.

That is my problem!!!! I have tons of motivation to pump iron but cardio is like a thorn in my side!!!

Have read that pumping iron for 30 min burns more calories than 30 min on bike or Treadmill.

And my thought is that roids are used to enhance performance and endurance.

Will it really be that bad to start on a small cycle?

Ps. thanks for all the replies

It may be true that lifting burns more calories than running on the treadmill, but the goal (for me) will be to lift for 30 minutes AND do 30 minutes of cardio. I am just using your example, it will probably be more like 45 minutes of lifting and an hour of cardio. I am on TRT and have no cycle experience, so others will need to chime in about the cycle. I have heard the 15% BF guidance a million times and take it seriously. When I get down to 15% I will think about blasting.

Look, I know how you feel. I have a thread in the Lounge explaining my current situation and even though i've been away for a couple of years. You will NOT see me asking about cycle advice at this time. AAS is not a miracle worker like so many believe. Our best bet here is sound diet coupled with cardio and of course most important consistency in those aspects.

I know it must be burning inside your mind that if you can just jump on a cycle, that will motivate you to train hard and keep going but lets not put the carriage before the horse here. We gotta get that BF% down then later look to move onto a cycle.

I would like to jump on a cycle because I know how it makes you feel but it really is the smart thing to do by waiting.

I wish you the best of luck, i'm in the same boat as you friend and while its going to be a tough road back. I know we can do it.

Dont mean to jump in to fast on the site. So I should think about a cycle only when I get to 15% body fat? Thats the goal to shoot for?
