My question is this I am currently unemployed and about to take a job that is very labor intensive in the hot sun. I will be working as manual labor at a car wash since I cannot find any other work, the shifts can range from 4 to 5 hours to 12 or 13 hours straight with no breaks. My question is this how can I still train and hit weights without loosing to much of my muscle mass. Should I change my routine to a 4 to 8 rep scheme or should I go with the flow since my job will be about 500 to a thousand reps a day and do volume, should I only hit weight 3 times a week because of the intensity of the work or stay with 4 that I do now. I just got out of a mass phase of my meso routine which lasted 12 weeks where I did reps of 4 to 8 with 3 working sets to put on some good quality mass. Right now I'm not yet in my cutting stage I have added cardio and jog 30 mins 4 days a week my reps are 8 to 10 with a warm up set of 12 with 4 sets and 4 exercises per body part.
Mass Routine 12 weeks
1 warm up set 10
3 sets of 4 to 8
4 exercises per body part
4 day split , 3 off
Day 1-Chest, Triceps
Day 2-Legs
Day 3-Back, Biceps
Day 4-Shoulders, Traps
In week 7 of current rep phase (Total would be 10 to 12 weeks)
1 warm up set of 12
3 working sets of 8 to 10
4 exercises per body part
4 days cardio 30mins jogging
Same spilt as above.
The last part of the phase(Total would be 8 to 10 weeks)
Would have been warm up set 15
3 working sets 12 to 15
Same split as above 5 days of cardio 45mins joggin
Well wondering what I should do?
