    Ever Heard Of This??

As I stated before I am having surgery on my shoulder in a couple weeks. I was looking into doing a stationary bike workout to keep my fat burning going with my diet and came across a Tabata workout for the bike. It's basically 20 seconds as hard as you can go then 10 seconds of rest, 8 sets. Has anybody tried this and had any results from it? Its a little iffy considering it is only 4 minutes long, but apparently it is extremely hard. Let me know your thoughts on this. Here is a link as to details on what it is:

its 4 mins long. i cant understand how its a good 4 min workout. but i think you need atleast 30 mins here is a different thing to do on the bike it will make it less tedious

    5mins warmup at low resistance
1 min fast as possible at same resistance.
    increse by 1 resistance
    slow pace 1min
    fast pace 1min
    increase by 1
    slow pace 1min
    fast pace 1min
    increase by 1
    slow pace1min
    fast pace1min

just keep doing that all the way up the resistances then all the way down. it will make the workout less tedious and it will give you a good workout.
