    Switching training times

I am currently switching my weight lifting from the evening to the morning. All my weights are outside until I get the addition built and it is getting to damn hot in the evenings to lift outside. Any suggestions on how I should approach eating prior to lifting? I always lifted in the evening because I had a full day of nutients to power me through a session. Now since I am working out in the morning, do I eat my normal breakfast or can a protein shake be enoigh to sustain me through my workout then eat after working out. I have difficulty working out on a full stomach so eating along with pre workout shakes is alot of food on the belly prior to working out. Some help would be appreciated

thats a tough one! i usually workout about 1.5 hours after my meal, but in your case i suggest to sip on a protein shake during workout!

I've trained AM for awhile now (when I do train) and its not as bad as you'd think. Wakeup, have a pro/carb meal and then get to work 45-1hr later...sometimes for me even 30 minutes later. No problems, i've always like it because one thing you cannot say working out in the AM is that you are exhuasted from a long day.

My last meal is around 8:30-9pm and I am up at 4am having my pre workout meal.

Thanks guys. I think it's just gonna take some getting used to. This morning did 850 calorie protein shake with my creatine and my NO and waited for about 30-40 minutes before working out. Seemed to work OK. As of right now, found it a little harder to eat after working out in the morning in opposed to the evening but I'll get the hang of it. One advantage of lifting in the morning is that I have more free time after work.
