    Creatine usage question

    I bought some creatine and I would like to take it properly.

    The guy at the store told me to take it in the mornings on non-workout days and after my workout on training days. The bottle says to take in the morning on non-workout days, and 1 hour prior to workout on training days.

    As well do you need to do a creatine loading phase? Thanks.

    Are you bodybuilding or strength training?

    Strength athletes benefit more taking it before a workout because it can boost strength levels and increase performance. This kind of short term thinking does not apply to bodybuilders who need to peak months or even years after first ingestion. Strength athletes also have no need to load creatine, because of the short-term effect. Simply taking 5 grams prior to each workout, about 30 minutes before, will do.

    I dont think you need the loading phase. I would use 5 grams daily. I use mine in my PWO shake or if I want it before my workout I throw 5 grams in some juice and drink it down.

    dont take it with plain water, some kind of juice or you may feel a different kind of burn lol

    Good info...it does build in your system but I like to take 2.5g preworkout and 5g pwo

    As was stated before, it doesn't matter when you take it because it builds in your system. The loading phase is BS, that is designed to make you use more of their product. I take it when I drink my shakes(morning and pre-workout).
