    Leg Day! FML

    Wats up guys,

Basically my dilemma is every leg day i get nausea during the workout. After Squats or Leg Press (mainly) all i want to do is vomit and it completely puts me off my workout and i find it hard to continue. This has led me to a few issues such as missing leg day in some occurrences (yes i deserve to get hit :P) doesnt entirely make me feel bad as my legs seem to get bigger quicker then any of my other parts so i don't really feel that bad on missing it out although i really want to do my Legs !

This is pretty much everything iv tried:

Not eating 2-3 hrs before my leg workout
Reducing the fluid intake before and during the workout
Not taking PWO before the workout
Sleep before i go (usually feel the worst after the sleep when doing the workout)
Mixing the order of exercises performed during the workout
changing the Weight/ intensity of the workout
    Increasing/Decreasing rest periods between sets

Im running out of ideas here guys, i dont get sick when training any other part. Anyone have any issues like this similar to mine? Im open to everyones opinions and ideas here.

    Regards,
    Bevsta

Sucks man. Since its those particular workouts that get you feeling like that instead of skipping leg workout day just skip those workouts. Have you tried changing your ROM to a smaller movement?

When doing legs. Especially squats and leg press you recruit many muscle fibers. Which in turn build more lactic acid.

Havent used a PWO supplement before leg day for about 3-6 weeks now, but usually its ether a strong cup of Coffee, jack3d, Myoblitz or 1MR but since then i havenet used a PWO.

Before i go gym its usualy a lean meat, sometimes it might be bout 350g grillde chicken breast, 250g of brown rice but this is 2 sometimes 3 hrs before my gym session where its digested

Weight and breathing wise isnt an issue.

going in to do legs in a bout 40 mins time, trying a different approach, usually do a 5-10 minute warm up with a quick strech but this time im going to do a 10 min warmup with a longer strech break then another 10 minutes more high intensity on the treadmill

Check your breathing, make sure you re not holding your breath when pushing. Made a huge difference for me. Also drink water while training and when you wanna yack go do it, mostly water comes out and you ll feel way better

Good to see you found a way around it. I was thinking it could have been a CNS issue, as in a sudden shock to it, or overload it wasnt used to. But if what your doing works, rock on!!!

Good info here. Used to happen to me for the short time I was going to the gym and was fearing that it would start again when I get back into it
