Any1 notice it was much easier to lose fat after gaining more lbm?

Wondering cause im 5 7" 155 13% and looking to gain a lean 15 pounds as of right now i dont have enough lean body mass to warrant a cut but i would am curious how more lbm could aid in fat loss.

Just looking for opinions. Im sure there isn't anything written about it except for the answer being 'yes' i just wanna hear from some people.

Anyone whos going from say 155lbs 13% bf to 170lbs 13% for example or in similar circumstances did they notice it was easier to drop body fat?

Or even did the raise in lbm simply make them look more 'cut' anyway?

Dont think it makes a difference.. but with more mass you will look better and muscle groups will look more pronounced.

Muscles burn calories just to maintain. So the more you have , the more you burn when you are active.

If I understand you correctly then the answer is yes. A body at 5'7" 170 13% would have an easier time dropping fat than the same body at 5'7" 155 13%.

The answer is a complete yes. The more muscle mass you get the less fat you will get if your diet is on point. You need to go to the diet section and read their thread on lean muscle mass. However 15 pounds at your size is 10 percent of your body weight. that is hard to do you will need to do some real research or you will be disapointed. You probably need to ride the bulk cut rollercoaster. Meaning clean bulk slow cut to try to save what you built. Good luck

^^^ I agree with this... as long as your diet is in check the answer is yes. Without exercise the body requires 69kcal to maintain a lb of muscle and 9kcal to maintain a lb of fat. so as long as you are taking in sufficient protein calories and the proper amounts of health fats and complex carbs you should have an easier time

    this is correct.
i also think the average person thinks its easier because they have to eat more to maintain the higher weight. So cutting at 150 requires less food then cutting at 170. So they think they have to diet harder at the 150. Kind of a perception thing.
I dont know if i explained that good
