How long before you lose muscle

Quick question, if I don't workout but eat the same (say I'm eating just maintenance cals) and still doing the same cardio
How long before I would start to lose my LBM? I feel deflated after a week off but is that just the blood?

No one can answer that question accurately... We can only say 'Use it or Loose it'

How long are you planning on taking off

I just took five weeks off. Both from the gym and diet. I put on some fat and felt smaller, but I stared to lift again last week and feel like I am inflating. Just getting blood into the muscles made them feel big...and so good!

I would guess in a few weeks it'l just be lower glycogen stores and less blood/water in the muscle that makes us feel deflated. I say this because, for example if we took 6 weeks off from the gym, we would notice weeks 1-3 in terms of loss of size, but weeks 4-6 we probably wouldn't notice much difference thereafter.
