If i'm running for about 45 minutes 3 times a week will this make it considerably harder for me to gain mass?

if it is high level cardio yes.. if it is low-moderate cardio then the fat loss and conditioning you get from it is probably equal to or greater than the loss of muscle. dont go above 65% Max HR
I kinda don't think so. If you make up your diet right, and your weight training is done well, you should be able to add lean, quality mass with little problem. Many here do 30 - 45 min of cardio after every workout, 5 or 6 days a week.
I think it might depend on your bodytype, metabolism and current bodyfat.
Thanks guys. I'm leaving for the army and will have to keep my cardio up.
Shut up and lift
Eat, eat, eat....Gotta make up for the calories you will be losing. And if its 45 minutes of relatively high intensity, which im guessing it is if your preparing for basic training then try to keep it seperate from your lifting sessions.
I'm really not hitting the weights now. Just pull up and pushups I planned on lifting again in job school. I haven't taken this long of a break from lifting since I was 12 so i'm getting pretty depressed. And yeah I figured on days I run do pull ups or pushups and add like 300 calories. Thanks for all the input guys
