ive been bulking and gaining, but i would like to propose my routine to you guys and ask a couple questions..
Day 1: Legs
Squats 3 sets, first set 12-15 reps, second set 6-8 reps, 3rd set 4-6 reps
leg press 3 sets 6-10 reps
hack squats 3 sets 6-10 reps
leg curls 3 sets 6-10 reps
leg extensions 3 sets 8-12 reps
calf raises 3 sets 10-12 reps
Day 2: press
flat BB bench 3 sets, 4-6 reps
incline BB bench 2 sets, 4-6 reps
cable crossovers 2 drop sets all the way down OR incline cable flyes 2 sets 8-12 reps (i interchange these)
BB military press 3 sets, 4-6 reps
side lateral raises 3 sets, 10-12 reps
weighted dips 3 sets 4-6 reps
skullcrushers 2 sets 6-10 reps
Day 3: Pull
deadlift 2 sets,4-6 reps
BB bent over rows 3 sets, 6-10 reps
wide grip pull-ups to failure super set with lat pull downs to failure 2 sets
close grip chins to failure super set with lat pull downs to failure 2 sets
smith BB shrugs 2 sets front, 1 set rear, 8-10 reps OR dumbbell shrugs 3 sets, 10-12 reps (i interchange these)
BB curls 2 sets, 6-10 reps
DB curls 2 sets- 4-6 reps
hammer curls 2 sets, 4-6 reps
Day 4: Off
Repeat..
2 questions, 1. am i sufficiently hitting all muscle groups? 2. does this sound like a decent mass builder for a bulking phase? thanks in advance to anyone who helps.
