    Shoulders on legs day?

I've been working on a 3 day split for the past few months and i really enjoy it compared to my 5 day split before and have noticed great size gains. Should i add shoulders to legs day? i couldn't possibly add them to any other day as i already spend a lot of time in the gym working out two body parts a day.

    Day1 chest and tris
    Day2 Back and bis
    Day3 legs (and shoulders?)
    Day4 rest

Start with shoulders on your leg day, otherwise your shoulder training will be pretty hard to start and finish after hitting legs.

I have recently looked into a research conducted on athletes that working small muscle groups along with large muscle groups (especially in the case of legs) will make the given small muscle group GROW MORE due to incremented amount of naturally occurring anabolic hormones in your body.

    Good news for your shoulders

    Or:
    Chest/Delts
    Legs
    Back/Bi's/Tri's

    Just a thought.

Yeah I have done this on occasion if it was a busy week

Seems like much better option then legs and shoulders, im wrecked after doing legs, I would have to drop exercises and volume to be able fit anything else in

Thanks Turk, I'm going to go ahead and add shoulders to leg day as you said and see how it goes for the next couple months and then after I think I might try out the split Pete offered.
