Hey guys- Just went to Trader Joes today and got their Organic fully cooked Jasmine Rice. It looks great, the only ingredient is (Fully cooked Organic Jasmine Rice)... My question is- Is this a good source of carbs? I know it's a silly question but I'm gonna try substitute this rice for a few sweet potatoes on my carb load day (saturday). 1 cup is equal to 40g carbs.

Like Sgt. said it's really the the Glycemic load or all the food combined that calculates your total GI.
