    New cutting workout??

So with my schedule I have about an hour and a half MAX. I want to incorporate more cardio. Right now I spend about 10 minutes prior to workout on treadmill getting cardio up and then I spend about an hour lifting. Then 20 minutes on the treadmill again. I was thinking about going on like a 3 day split. That way I can get 3 good cardio days in and rest the third day. Thoughts?

Look into Tabata training. I like that pretty well. Consist of 8 timed set per exercise. 20 secs work with 10 sec rest per set. You will be about to die at the end. I wouldnt go any more than about 4-6 week with it. Only takes about 30 mins to get your wo in. So you can also do 40-60 mins of cardio. I believe most say cardio doesnt really start to burn fat until about 20-30 mins in. So 20 is not really gonna do much for you. Also may be called HIIT training.

Correct lypolysis doesn't kick in till ur heart rate has been above about 65% of ur Mac heart rate for approx. 20 minutes. But that's why I hit the tread mill for 10 before my workout. To get my heart rate up. It usually gets up to about 160 during my workout and stays there. When I get on the treadmill after my workout it's always around 160. I take 30 second breaks after each set and they r always to failure. So I think my body is maintaining lypolysis during my workout. But I want to incorporate more cardio sessions so I can better control my heart rate

Sounds like focus is going to be on cardio? Correct me if I'm wrong..

But not just cardio is cardio..focus on breathing during exercises helps as well.

Well overall goal is to lose bf and maintain lbm. But I would also like to improve my cardiovascular system to maintain good health as well. I just feel like even though I'm keeping my heart rate high during lifting I'd like to be able to have more control over it. But I love lifting more so then cardio lol

    Rock---me---hardplace lol
