    Crossfit or HIIT?

    I'm looking to start a new training program and due to my recent relocation, I don't have a personal trainer. I am a 72" 180lb MMA fighter looking to change things up a little bit, but I'm not sure whether crossfit or HIIT would be better for me. Any help?

    Do you have a decent foundation of strength? I would look into a routine called 5x5 if I were you. Some added strength can you a long way in boosting your performance for MMA. Another good routine is 5/3/1. Take your pick.

    HIIT and crossfit are two things I would recommend to the advanced lifter since they can be pretty demanding on one's recovery, which can negatively impact your practice for MMA.
