Question AM workouts with PWO cardio. Eat before or do it fasted.

I don't feel that doing am workout plus PWO cardio lowers my intensity, but is this a bad idea because of potential LBM loss? I tried to search this but couldn't find any good answers. I normally have a 600 cal breakfast shake (whey, whites, oats, milk). But if I'm not going to lose muscle and burn more fat why not?

Also do you guys like to do cardio PWO?

I personally do not believe in any "windows" for cardio. Do it whenever, so long as you do it! I'd get rid of the milk, however

PWO cardio is what I prefer. But certainly don't lift then do cardio without food in your stomach.

    Agreed....

    Just do it...

Overall macronutrient intake is what's going to effect total LBM loss the most.... Nutrient timing will have little effect overall in the grand scheme of things.....

If you feel that your slacking with ur cardio however I'd recommend a pre workout meal..... Remember the goal with cardio is burning calories.... So if a meal helps u work harder then have a meal...

Well said. Amazing.... the power of diet. The most effective solution to everything and the most under-estimated. (not referring to you, OP! - just in general )
