LOL I believe we have all seen people working out this way. It’s horrible when people are more concerned in lifting big instead of lifting correctly. The worst thing about this video is that the guys are huge. Most noobs that watch this video probably think, “If I work out like that I’m going to get big.”

I guess when you get to that sort of size, the only thing you can do is go as heavy as possible in the good of breaking down the tissue?

Thanks for pointing out the obvious, Marcus

What should also be emphasized here is that Branch Warren has suffered from more serious injuries than any of his rivals over the past couple of years. When you look at it this way, it raises question marks about what works and what doesn't.

98% of the people that go to the LA Fitness i go to workout this way!!! The problem is as you stated TJ that when most people see this video they see a huge guy who got huge by doing it this way, they dont think about anything else.

I watch videos to pick up certain techniques and exercises i have never seen or done, other than that i do my own thing and even then i do the exercise my way, the way it fits me.

Marcus I could use an axe to open up a can of tuna. Just because I can and it works doesn’t mean I should.

Funny you say that. While marcus doesn't eat tuna out of a can, he literally uses an axe to catch tuna.

I could actually see his big jacked ass doing that. Hell he wouldn’t have to use the ax on the can either he would tear the can in half with his bare hands.

That's how Branch apparently thinks, and thanks to that line of thought, he has to continue his career with a torn lat which doesn't really seem to repair itself in spite of the abundance of every synthetic hormone and peptide he injects himself. I love how he looks on the stage regarding muscularity and conditioning, he sure is a freak, but if you watch one of his ''back workout'' videos, you'll have much better understanding of where these major injuries are coming from. So much for symmetry, Branch:

“The explosive manner at which Branch performs his reps from the sidelines could well be mistaken for a cheating technique. You would be correct in this assumption to a certain degree but at closer inspection these "cheat reps" are in a controlled manner, and in no way does Warren use this as an excuse for sloppy form. Branch advises not to mimic his style, as this is a technique he has molded and adapted to spanning over 15 years of weights abuse. “

Branch apparently advises others not to mimic his style, so do I (Everyone please read the title of this thread).

Thus, I don't see any point for further discussion here...

No ithought it was funny that he covers up his poor training practices by saying that it is controlled. Nothing about how he trains is controlled. Branch is all about moving weight and never thinks to invite proper form and technique to the party.
