    Long Long Time ago

I am in my 50's, just started TRT, and feel a big difference already. I really need to get back into exercising. I am not overweight, never have been. I have had some old injuries/surgeries in the Army, Plus the Low T all contributed to some muscle loss. Now I am getting burst of energy, and need to work out. What would be best to start out with? Considering I was really in bad shape with the low T. I was thinking water aerobics to start out with? Wow, just thinking back (Long Long Time ago) I use to instruct physical training, and run 18 mile Marathons, but I did not have low T, and was in prime condition. Regardless I think I could build myself up fast, but asking? because I do not need to over do it at this point.

Congratulations on deciding to get back in shape! If you'd like to start off slow, you could start with some light cardio. Try going 40 minutes on a treadmill between 3.0-4.0 on a 5.0 incline. As for weightlifting, you can simply do some compound lifts and build your strength back up. There's no need for assistance movements like curls and pushdowns this early. Good luck brother!
