Not really, but your energy levels will be higher at the start so you can really murder them before doing everything else, if calves are the focus.

It absolutely matters, imho. Most guys would never train chest last, etc., but calves are always at the end and the attitude is usually to just "get them over with." Which is why most have weak (er) calves. So, if they are a weak point I highly recommend training them first. You'll be surprised, they don't tire you out for the rest of leg day to follow and act as a great overall warm up.

Took this advice and worked very well for me.

Everything was impossible until somebody did it!

    I've got 99 problems......but my squat/dead ain't one !!

It doesnt matter how good looking she is, some where, some one is tired of her shit.

Light travels faster then sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Great place to start researching ! http://forums.steroid.com/anabolic-s...-database.html

thanks for the eye opener...ive never tried doing them first for the fact that I was afraid it would mess up my balance maybe on squats, but they are very resilient and I could use me some more calvs so ill give it a go and see if I can get a little more growth there....thanks...

Ghetto you'll like them first. It really warms you up for heavy leg work to follow without tiring you out. Then when your done quads and hams you don't have to have that "oh shiat" feeling of still having to do calves. You'll appreciate it.

I am trying to begin my leg work out with calves, otherwise I forget about them or just too tired after.
