the educational threads forum is a subforum that consists of some of the more notable threads on a given topic. a lot of outstanding threads in here, but if they were all stickies, you wouldn't have anything but stickies on your screen at all times...

SV-1, whats your take on DNP dammaging your vission?
yeah and i read a while ago in a post some people are taking something for the vission problem...it may prevent it...but i really dont know anymore what it was...u guys know something about this supplement
any one know about this stuff hurting your vission or your eyes themselves?
there are people that have reported such things but I am wondering if you guys know about what to look for, like warning symptoms or how eye dammage actually happens ect. ect...

thanks,
sorry about that, I must have missed it.
Definitely a great read for anyone remotely interested in DNP. Some repetitiveness, but when it comes to DNP, all precautions must be made. Anyone on here that has tried it should post their results (cycle length, weight lost..etc.). Also, it seems as if more and more people are giving DNP a try and having great success with it.
check out the "members cycles results" section, there are alot of dnp journals there
Thanks for the collective info. This is a big help on the research end.
Good read,
got 2 questions:
"Keep your intake of vegetables high
(especially any kind of Lettuce, cubecomber etc.)
Also Fruits (with the exception of Bananas/strawberries/grapes)
do combat a lot of sides"
1. Why no bananas/strawberries/grapes??? does that mean you cannot take them or they just dont combat the sides???
2. the whole T3 thing is confusing the hell out of me.
I have been on DNP for 4 days and dont feel a thing except dry mouth.
200 mg/day. Might bump it up to 400 mg/day. I weigh about 240lbs at
5'11"
I have read this thread about six times. And following everything.
I would appreciate it if you (SV-1) or anyone else, could elaborate more on the T3 issue. Like why exactly should it be taken, or can you do DNP without it...ect ect!
(ive got some on hand so I am fully prepared)
Thanks.
By Kingofmasters: "well actually it isn't a real concern on DNP it just is that most fruits have phytochemicals in them that refrain the body from metabolising most of the carbs (We just recently discovered this to be the reason why fruits aren't fattening!). Bananas/Strawberries/grapes don't have this property and thus can be "fattening" (while I doubt when your on DNP that you will care)!"Originally Posted by phwSSJ
1. If this is your first run of DNP don't up the dose to 400mg ED, just stay at 200mg ED. That's my advise, take it or leave it.Originally Posted by phwSSJ
2. DNP stops the conversion of T4 to T3 in the liver. This lowers your T3 levels around 80% (thus slowing fat loss a bit). But not near enough to combat DNP's fat burning properties. However if you want to maximize your fat loss you can supplement your DNP cycle by adding in some T3. So you can add the T3 if you want, but it's not necessary.
You Tha Man SV-1![]()
Thank you for clearing that up!
wow great read some good info in there, thanks
awsome post bro
Thanks SV-1, very informative collection of articles covering many aspects of DNP that I wan't familiar with.
Thanks again.
thanks for the post
iread all what i could read about dnp, everything .. i am like 100% ready to use it.. but sucks big time that its so hard to get ur hands on it ..
SV-1
I'm morbidly obese what would you suggest I eat when taking this? Calories and Content of the diet???
this post is from 05 , so i really don't think sv-1 is a member here anymore or has posted since 06 correct me if i'm wrong......lol
dnp is not for obese people STOP being lazy go to the diet section and do cardio. there's no magic cure. besides it's illegal and if you found it somewhere on the web you're gonna get scammed buddy : )
I'm not lazy I just wasn't born with a fast metabolism. I'm also missing enzymes in my genes that cause me to not be able to keep the weight off. I've lost 100 pounds on my own I just read the article and I was curious. Asshole layoff it.
SV-1 - According to your own posting 01-25-2005, 12:08 AM, DNP is a mutagen! That means that it produces mutations to DNA (DNA damage). What could be worse?
I don't see how you can post that data on the one hand, and then post your opinion that, "Fact is, DNP is a lot SAFER if used PROPERLY than
ANY other slimming drug out there." This doesn't add up.
Why would anyone intentionally take a chemical that they believe to be a mutagen?
This very recent Safety Data Sheet on DNP June 18, 2009 states that:
"Reproductive effects have been observed with laboratory animals.
Mutagenic effects have been observed on tests with bacteria.
Mutagenic effects have been observed on tests with fish.
Mutagenic effects have been observed on tests with laboratory animals."

There is also data on it causing chromosome aberrations:

THIS IS SCARY STUFF!
