help with cutting - how much cardio

when cutting i know a good clean diet is essential, and i am in the process of making a diet right now. But cardio is just as important. So the question is how much cardio should i be doing? 30 mins - 1 hr?

    my stats are 5' 8 195 lbs bodyfat somwhere 15% - 20%

im not the cardio expert, but you could do 45mins a day...or if you have two work out sessions...you could run in the morning for 30 mins..then on your evening session, do your work out...and another 30 min run after your done...either or will work...i hate running, so i do stuff like jump ropes, swimming, and minimal running (20-25 mins), about 15 mins of jump rope and 30 laps in pool (60laps if you count each end) swim=abs

45-60 mins of light cardio either first thing in AM on empty stomach or 3 hours after a pro fat meal.

Fat burning does not begin until about 20 min into the session

I wouldn't recommend running for cardio, why put added stress on your joints plus is harder to keep a constant heart rate. Yes running can be effective for HIIT but I wouldnt say good for constant steady HR CV
