    Dumbells or straight bar?

In regards to flat and incline bench. Has anyone had better results from dumbell or staight?

I like dumbells. I feel the range of motion is better and I can get deeper with them.

Same for me, plus they seem to hurt my shoulders less.

its better to use dumbells as when using straight bar you seem to push out with your naturally stronger side.

I prefer DB's but change it up with BB from time to time.

I prefer the bells personally, but try to incorporate straight bar every other training sessions. Or sometimes I will superset, sick burn. Good luck to you .

You see these threads all day all year long. Definitely not trying to flame or knock any comments or preferences.... but seriously, you don't have to pick between one or the other... it makes way more sense to mix both into your regime. Even if it would have to be DB's for an extended period of time and then on to BB's for an extended period of time. Use both...they have both been around and stood the test of time... In all honesty neither is superior to the other.

DB for sure. I suffered a shoulder injury a while back, and still feel a slight pain if i use the bar. However, it feels great when i use the db. I try to use db when i can no matter what im working (besides legs of course).
