Hi.
I would like some advice please.
I have bulked up (truth be told I have OVER bulked up). My naive goal was to build up 220lbs of muscle mass and lift elite levels of weight, which I achieved 50 days ago. I also gained a lot of fat (a whopping 37%). I am 6ft4. My health suffered. I am now on a mission to “save my life” as my doctor phrased it. My blood results were worrying. Pre diabetic, Enema and signs of Kidney issues, thick blood, high blood pressure, even internal bloating (hernia like lump in my belly button)
I am now on a high protein, low carb diet. Huge calorie deficit. Totally cut out beer. No sugar. Good fats. No processed food etc. A good overall diet. I do 30 miles of cardio a week. Lift as normal (pretty much the same amount of weight, even broke a couple of PB’s in that 50 days). I am also on TRT (T levels within natural physiological range).
My problem is this. I had my 50 day scan tonight. I have lost 3lbs of bone mass, 4lbs of muscle mass and ONLY 9lb of fat!
How can I stop the bone and muscle from wasting away? Why is the bone mass reducing?? How can I make it so I mostly lose fat?
(P.S. I am stronger than I was 50 days ago despite the muscle and bone loss)
Obviously I am working in conjunction with my doctor but would like more feedback as I have little faith in her.
Thanks
