What do you mean by "intensity"? Like duration, your heart rate?
Why would you want to?
Being that at a heart-rate too high to burn fat, it doesn't matter what you are or are not on, you still are not going to burn fat.
See what I mean?

Increasing your intensity above the fat burning zone will slow your lean body mass gains from the cycle.
yeah im aware of the concept of fat burning zone as well as a calorie deficit, but i figured since AAS helps w/ nitrogen balance it can preserve lean body mass during strenoius conditions therefor i was woundering if heartrate could be increased 5-10% to increase calorie expenditure and still retain the same fat burning properties... see what im gettin at?
Where the zone of burning fat does not change. Your ability to maybe lower cals and up cardio does change. By upping the cardio perhaps you could do 60 mins/day instead of 45.
No it won't do that.Originally Posted by taiboxa
Your body still uses fat as fuel in a body-specific heart-rate range. Gear does not change that percentage "setting".

I'm glad you asked this question..because I just assumed the same thing...Originally Posted by taiboxa
One may be able to go for a LONGER DURATION at the correct fat burning H.R. w/out any negative sides (catabolism), but the actual H.R. that is responsible for mobilizing fat stores to energy expenditure does not change.
