just dont do 2 large muscle groups in the same day ie dont do chest with back or back with legs or chest with legs.

    my split is:

    mon- chest and biceps
    tuesday- back and triceps
    wednesday- rest
    thursday- shoulders and traps
    friday- legs

I would have to disagree with you here. On Monday you are getting a lot of stimulation in the triceps while doing chest. Then, the next day you are going to pound them again? I would give at least one rest day in between the two if you are going to do this setup.
My triceps would be pretty sore on Tuesday so isolating them would be unthinkable.

?? why would you say not to train back/ chest on same day? my current routine is..
    day1- back/chest
    day2- legs
    day 3 arms/shoulders
    day 4 off
start over.. this is just what i am currently doing for the past 2 weeks and i will switch it in two more weeks.. but i am loving it. dont feel over trained and pumps have been unreal when working opposites
