    Shoulder popping sound

I've noticed a popping sound when doing military/shoulder press. It's not painful but noticeable. Any ideas?

i get the same thing. it's your rotator cuffs. it's injury due to overuse of the rotators or bad form during exercises.

due to my rotator cuff issues, i avoid shoulder presses of any kind. there are plenty of other shoulder exercises you can do, and front delts get plenty of work from chest day anyway.

your best bet is read the injury section information on rotator cuff injuries and how to rehabilitate them. there are exercises in there that should help. there is other things you can do as well, but that's a start. just make sure to avoid any exercise that makes them pop during the reps. at minimum, at least do a range of motion that prevents the popping from happening, as you don't want to make the rotators worse.
