    Twice a day

Is working out twice a day for the same muscle good or bad??? I know the muscles need time to rest but I was heard that working out once in the morning and once in the afternoon/night impacts the muscle more. Your two cents please.

    I don't have 2 cents, I'm poor.

Had a friend once that would do a split (major / minor muscle). Would do the major earlier in the day and return to the gym later in the day to do the minor - so that he was more energized / rested. Talkin like a Back / Bi split, one of those...

My money says hell no. You could work two different muscles in one day and MAYBE hit them muscles twice a week but i wouldn't hit the same muscle twice in one day. After my workouts i couldn't even try and go back for more if i wanted. I think you need to work harder at hitting it right the first time.
