Morning, am cardio, walk for an hour. this will give your body the time to burn calories on an empty stomach (70% of mhr) Then if your working abs.. use weighted crunches. Oblique busters...throw downs...im sure you know these. if not the throw downs you have a buddy throw your legs to the ground... you try to keep them from tuching, this will work your lower abs, the oblique busters, are a crunch with your legs to the side, these work suprisingly well...i dont knwo the name of the machine, but you hold your body up from your arms, and bring ur knees or legs to your chest, this will also work your lower abs.
