I do decline weighted situps, and thats moreso lower abs.
What are good for the upper abs, and the left/right abs?

I don't think decline situps are for lower abs....aren't lower abs worked when the upper body remains still and the legs are used i.e. hanging leg raises, lying leg raises, etc?? Upper abs are worked when the legs remain still and the upper body is "crunched"....

for mass, iused to put alot of plates in a mail bag and do wweihgted crunches and i used to tie the mail bag to my legs for leg raises, it was a bitch and i dont recomend going to this extreme. i have found doing reasonable weighted crucnches for more sets works better.
and I have found that a once a week superset of 5-6 sets of abs is more than enough to build em up directly, they get worked with all different exercises you do during the week...Your diet is going to determine their visibilty much more than your training, period.
I was gonna work them twice a week.
weighted decline situps, weighted leg levers,
what about left and right? just some good ol left and right crucnhs?
I mean yeah u could do em if you wanted to, but my obliques were busting during my show, and I never do abs, maybe once a week...
exactly, i work them only one day a wk anymore like you do, seems to work just fineOriginally Posted by Undecided09

P.S. Doc sust I understand the purpose of a belt and things alike, and that they are necessary for people who are more concerned with powerlifting and putting up as much weight as they can without getting injured, and less with the "bodybuilding" aspect of lifting....I was just making my point...
