Sorry to hear that bra.
But if he was in bad pain, than you did the right thing
Yeah, my balcony is 12 feet high, and he was a great dane, wasnt built to thak that fall.
damn.....sorry to hear that man..losing a dog really sux..only dog owners know.. sorry for your loss
sorry to hear man, that can't be easy. just remember it was for the best.
Just lost my dog too, he died of natural causes, remember him for the crazy mug he was
it is soooo hard losing a dog, i feel your pain bro. After my rotties time comes I am not getting another b/c i cant take it anymore i just now got over my last dog that we put down 4 years ago! dogs when treated right give you the most unconditional affection of any species alive
so sorry, my heart goes out to you, it is just as bad or worse than lossing a person in my eyes. i love animals, i hate people
Sorry to hear bro, I had to put mine down in July after 15 years, I grew up with that dog. Just remember to stay strong and everything else will be ok.
Thanks for the support guys, It does suck, every day all he wanted to do was please you. And Im the one to say kill him. I know its for the best, but I still feel like shit. So much for being a "tough guy" Its weird, I have no problem pointing my rifles at a human, but to give another man permission to put down my dog, makes me want to lose it emotionally.
i statrted a thread"deca for my dog" almost 2 years ago.
My great dane needed help w/ joint and arthritis problem,s, 16 years old.
LOst him about 4 months after i started the thread. My condollences
if it makes you feel better...i used to work for a vette. I promise you they don't feel anything when t hey are injected. They literally just relax... no tense moments or spams.
trust me, i feel the exact same wayOriginally Posted by carguy_z28

I feel you, I had to have cujo (part lab and rott) put to sleep and my beagle died a year laterI just now after over two years my mom gave me a miniture dushound(sp?) he looks like a puppy black and tan coon hound and it's cool to come home and see him
I didn't even want the new dog because I didn't want to go through that again but it really helped and I'm glad mom got it for me

My mom took cujo so I didn't have to witness it and she didn't tell me till I got home so it helped a little but I still to this day feel guilty that I was not with him(I'm sad now
) Maybe cujo & dog is up there to welcome your dog, big fella is welcomed now
