    Twiching after injection into delt with HCG

    Is that normal??? Lots of blood cam back into the needle to.

    why would you shoot hcg into your delt? it should be shot sub-q with a slin pin in the belly button area.

    The metal ions in the needle can sometimes cause a muscle to twitch. If you hit a cutaneous nerve or used a dull needle which causes a stretch reflex to happen, will also cause this. Same with pain receptors and dull needles, they will cause a reflexive twitch.

    HCG can be used IM or sub -q , but i prefer sub -q ...Actually on the brand name HCG patient info pamphlet it says for IM use only..

    You probably hit a vein .. When you aspirate and blood comes back into the syringe you hit a vein.. You are suppose to remove the needle and not inject in that spot if that occurs..

    You are shooting this intra muscular?? Why? Blood in the needle? When you aspirated? If so you were in a vein.
