How do u tell if a mail order site is legit?

There is a formula to tell:
1) Did the gear you ordered come in?
If no, it's probably not legit.
If yes, proceed to 2.
2) Did you get gains off of the gear?
If no, it's probably not legit.
If yes, then it's legit.
