Thats true, I think it depends on if the black hole is approaching you or you just go into it. Maybe matter rips apart at a certain speed no matter what your velocity is towards the black hole. I just heard that if you were on Earth that gravity would lighten and everyone would be all "yay yay" hoping around having a good time untill you get particlized lol!
