The NCAA does test for both. But not every time. Some tests are only for rec drug use. AAS are expensive to test for. Dont think you can even test for creatine, and even if you can the NCAA doesnt do it. Actually nobody does. I got buddies who play NCAA football and the coach tells them to take it and the schools buy it. Its not on the IOC banned substance list either. Its legal.
Actually to correct myself it would seem possible to test for creatine, or rather its metabolite, in the urine. This is never done however. Its naturally present in the human body. It would have to be a threshold test. But like I said its legal in every organization Ive heard of, including the IOC..which has the final say on drug testing in sports.
