Inj Site Bump

Almost 12 hrs later, no fever, a little more bruising, swelling almost gone, not hot in the area. I searched this topic and found a lot of good advice. One thing I have not been doing is aspirating. Question: If I aspirate and find blood do I pull the ndl all the way out and reset with a new tip or do I just pull back a little. Thanks for all your help, this board is a life saver!

Always aspirate! If you get blood, pull out and repin in a fresh spot. Changing the needle is optional.

Hey All: Its been a week since I got the bump at the pin site and after my last post the black and blue came on big, no infection, pain (to speak of) or redness, just a big bad bruise. Well a week later the bruise is mostly gone, and the bump has reduced quite a bit. However the bump ist still there and very hard but not painful. Any ideas on how long I can expect this baby to hang around? Off cycle now and on to PCT so I don't expect any glute pins for a while.
