The real problem is teachers don't care. I can't tell you how many times I got shit for being mexican at my school and teachers would hear it and laugh along. Most of the time they would simply ignore it and act like it never happened. On the bright side though I loved fighting so I would get into fights quite a bit over things like that, that and I am not so pathetic as to hang myself because I got called names...
