If there is not a drop in power i highly doubt it will be anything to do with the exhaust or manifold.

Does the ticking noise happen when you are moving? or if you are stationary and rev it up?

Good info, I don't know much about newer cars. I have a 454 in my old Vette and I have to re-torque the headers about every 6 months, but there is absolutely no noticeable drop in power when they start leaking, just the noise.
