As for Cuba, they had Nuclear weapons pointed at us and they are 50 miles away from the US so we had very good reason to get invovled.

Since then I don't think we have done too much other then send i love lucy reruns through the radio waves since they ban all outside media. Oh and occassionally ask them to release their politcal prisoners. You see in most countries when someone speaks out against their leader like you do everyday they get thrown in jail or they just dissappear. You may not like the USA but you should be very happy you are allowed to say so!

Castro was nice enough to empty his dungeons and float a shit load of scumbags to Florida. Of course America welcomed them with open arms. This was 1981, not sure you know much about it other than seeing it on the movie Scarface.

I have talked to women whop were on those ships headed here. Talk about rape and murder and god knows what else occured. Then again, alot of them were hardcore criminals.

And I like the ever popular "You don't like America, you can leave statement" it only shows you do not posess the knowledge to debate the topic at hand.

This is not about Cuba alone, it is about America sticking its goddamn nose in everyones business.

OPf course we got involved in what is now known as "The Cuban Missle Crisis". Then again, we have missles pointed everywhere but thats ok, we are the only ones allowed aren't we. I mean we are so mighty and just that we can do that, but god forbid anyone else attempt to protect themselves.

The Cuban missle issue had alot to do with Russia as well. It was Russia's support of Cuba that pissed us off.

I started this topic to show just how pathetic out foregin policy is, one leader is stepping down and our gov't immediately states how "Democracy" should be installed as it would be so much better. All this other stuff is extra
