I would agrue that the more lax we are about our own national defense, ie immigration policy, energy policies, and foreign policy the more likely it is that a terrorist plot would be succesful.

A change in our inflammatory foreign policy would significantly reduce the risk that people would even be motivated to carry out such attacks.

So when Americans expect their civil liberties to be protected as well as the Constitution, this is "hamstringing" the gov't ability to "protect" us?

Honeslty man, you really need to wakeup! There was tons of intellegience before 9/11 showing that an attack was imminent and how radical Muslims were being trained to fly airplanes here in the US, Bush went on vacation rather than deal with the issue. This is well documented!

Then again, by allowing the attack this created the opportunity for more governement control, of course all under the farce of "security" for US Citizens. There has always been a catastrophic occurence before any major conflict, they have all been manufactured to disguise the means by telling everyone how it is for our security, or to fight communism bla bla bla

WWII, Vietnam, 9/11 all follow the same layout. A "terrible" event occurs, the gov't then gets the publis to back their BS plans and next thing you know the war machine is in full affect.

Yeah, those are the only ones being taped. You really are gullable aren't you.

Reality is gonna be hard to handle when you decide to wakeup and face it.

I'm sorry, I truly am. I should never question gov't authority, how dare I? The gov't is the most trustworthy entity in the world and I can sleep well at night knowing it is doing all it can to keep me and my family safe. It truly has our best interests at heart.

It would never do anything to trample my constitutional rights, it only protects them.

Good kool-aid..now I know why so many millions drink it.

We still had troops in Saudi Arabia, which they consider holy land. Maybe in order for you to realize it, the Chinese government should send a couple thousand troops to your Church and set up shop there, chill out for a little while, but they're only coming there to help you and tell you how to live your life more like them. Thats ok isn't it? I mean you woulnd't have a problem with it? Because thats our attitude towards other countries, conform, get in line, or get blown the f**k up...

Under that same logic then you would agree with every action the president has taken without any objection because of course the Americans are the ones that invaded IRAQ..No problem with our declining market cause of course your at fault as the Americans created the real estate bubble and of course you agree with torture cause the Americans torture...Its irresponsible to assume that the political governing body completely agree's with the all of the religious sects especially in the middle east...

    #1 I take that as a compliment.

#2 Why would I do things according to terrorists who are spoiling for a fight? The United States has interests in the middle east so we have a base there. Sounds logical. Im not pissed off, I just think we need to exterminate the wackos.
