Snipping Off Dogs Balls

Time has come to take my little man to the vet to have him neutered!! I feel real bad though all of a sudden, I almost feel like saying the hell with it, let the guy keep his manhood. The pros out weigh the cons in having him neutered though, as it is healthier and safer for everyone around, but dam man I know I would not like my balls being cut off!!!! He goes in 2 weeks, and I am pretty sure I will have it done, but I would like to hear from both sides of owners who have or have not neutered there dogs!!!!! He is the white one with the brown spot.The little one is my French bulldog, she was spayed, and I did not feel that bad, cause I did not want to deal with a bloody bitch!

I agree that it sucks doing it to him. But in the long run its much better. The only thing is that i would not do it till he is a year old. I feel a dog needs time to grow before changing his or her hormones.

That brings up another great point. The breeder who we got him from said the same thing as you, however most vets and even lots of breeders are now claiming before 6 months is better. I need to look into this more before I take him, thanks for the tip..

I was planning on studding him out. He hasnt had any complication thus far, and I don't like how annoying he is when there is a dog in heat around. It is quite annoying when he tries to hump other dogs, and I just want him to calm down.

My pup had his chopped off when he was like 7 weeks. He was like that when I got him so I didnt have to feel bad

ever since my dog got neutered he got fat fast and never wants to do anything anymore.... stupid vet
