How come everyone else can't see that these new tvs are horrible? I go into Best Buy , Walmart, Target...wherever they sell tvs and look at all of them. These new LCD's and Plasma tv's don't have nothing on a good old CRT. Their images are blotchy and messed up....just horrible. Until I am convinced otherwise I am sticking with my outdated picture tube.

They look horrible because those stores do not have them setup properly. They're not feeding the TVs an HD signal. If you take standard definition TV from cable or over the air and blow it up to 50-60 inches it looks like hell. Shit in = shit out. If you want to see them properly go to a high end home theater store. High end stores usually have HD satellite and you can see what they really look like. You'll be blown away.

What would be a place? I mean I went to best Buy and they are supposed to specialize in electronics and the picture looks the same there too. I dunno where else to go?
