Sometimes this will happen because your body reacts to the oil in which the steroid is mixed with. This can cause your body to react by swelling. If it is really red and begins to burn go to the Doc ASAP. If it is only sore and the swelling begins to go down in a day or so then you are probably fine. As others said tho...the 10 second rule doesn't apply to items being injected into your body.
