I find a lot of my problem with keeping my diet solid is finding time to actually prepare a healthy meal. So sometimes I'll indulge on the run and stop by a supermarket and get some fried chicken from the deli.
Or I'll be inbetween classes and will wind up getting something with entirely too many carbs in it.
Back in the day (I know this isn't "balanced" lol) But I would buy the 4lb tins of tuna fish, open them up and mix it with lettuce, celery, peppers, eggs and some other random stuff.
I'd eat this religously for a month, do a lot of cardio, get a couple protein shakes, and I would notice drastic difference in my body. (for the better).
Well I'm in the same rut again. And I honestly have no problem with eating the same meal everyday all day, and I DO love fish.
But tunafish is my least favorite. Its too dry and fishy and I don't have the $$ to be buying lbs of fillets everyday.
So today I was just experimenting and I got some bags of mixed veggies (4lbs for $3) and a CRAPLOAD of chicken. I boiled the crap out of the chicken to try and get a lot of fat out.
Cooked the veggies ( green beans, onions, mushrooms, baby corn, broccoli, and carrots )
Shredded some fresh ginger, a bit of soy sauce & garlic.
Added the chicken and cooked it all together (no oil).
This stuff tastes AWESOME!
And its dirt cheap to make a lot.
Yeh I've been here a while but I know crap about nutrition compared to other guys.
Can I eat this all day everyday?
Just keep like 20lbs in the fridge?
I'd be having protein shakes along with it PWO & before bed. I'm not asking amounts because I can figure that out. But is there anything else I would need or can I just eat this?
I really need to get my diet straight and start leaning down a bit. My diets actually better right now than it usually is but I find myself cheating entirely too much due to time constraints, always on the go, always broke (college),
thoughts and flaming welcome. =]
