Welfare out of control

im sure you never made any mistakes in your life. and not sound insensitive? it sounds to me like your saying i was a mistake.

my dad was a drug addicted loser and ended up in prison. i never knew him and i think my mom made the right choice by never having anything to do with him after the fact. without the support of our government, i doubt she would have been able to do what she did. now she is a registered nurse and deals in real estate on the side.

Haus, you don't have to explain your shitz to anyone.... good job to your mom.... and if someone wants to hate on situations it is because they don't know anything else except to sit back and analyze it with hypothesis... I am not a child raised from the welfare system...but, my sister had to use it for a period of time when her boy was real sick from birth and dad was out of picture... she was able to get situated and now is finishing a double major on masters degree and a good citizen of society that recieved a helping hand when needed.

I never said that, don't put words in my mouth it's unsanitary!

You said "any job is good right?", and I'm answering that maybe not...

I mean when you work crazy hours and can't even make a basic living wage for your family, something is definetly wrong with the system.

As for welfare, it wouldn't exist if I were in charge. On the other hand, I have nothing against government "social assistance" where the government helps out someone who works their 40+ hours and just can't cover the basic expences of living like food, rent and clothing.
