    A macronutrition calculation is the breakdown of food items into the fat, protein, carbohydrate and caloric components.

    IE:
    The macronutritional calculation of 250 grams of cottage cheese is:
    CAL / PRO / FAT / CARB
    250g cottage cheese: 200 / 30 / 4 / 12
