heat or ice?

i usually was putting a heating pad on the site right after injection.. just stacking winnie and primo.....the primo is a cake walk compared to the winnie so Its just the winnie that hurts and its not my first time using it but i am just curious...ice or heat...and it's not a problem if I put icey hot on the site also when I am not able to ice or heat...?

I would heat it for 30min post inj and massage...this seems to help with absorbtion and swelling etc. But Winny just sucks.....maybe a few Ibuprophens and ice IF it swells up. In my experience icy-hot does nothing except make you smell funny...haha. Just my .02

Ibproufen (& other NSAID's e.g. Tylenol, Aspirin, Alleve, etc.) have been shown to inhibit protein synthesis... I'd avoid that route unless you're really suffering because it's counterproductive to taking the juice in the first place.

If it's a high BA (pain) nothing but Advil works for me..heat acually makes mine worse, draws the fluid out, making muscle lumpy..took me a week to see i was making it worse !!!!!!!!
