I would not switch to a higher dosage, as your original question asked, but I would switch to keeping the same dosage but making 2 injections per week ASAP.

Yes it's OK to switch to that mid-cycle with zero ill-effects.

more muscle is a bit generic..
It will give you more stable blood levels = less sides.
