    if your trying to say i dnt know about the sport iv been training for over 18 months in mma now i get in a cage on a regular basis i know what it takes.
    if you watch previous ufcs where the ref knows that the fighter can take a beating they let it go alot longer then that fight.
    thats why i said he is known as a tuff dude!i just watched it again and how can u say that hes not defending himself when hes hands/arms are clearly covering hes head and most of florians punchs arent doing any damage!

    edited because i don't want to get in a pissing contest... bottom line...you have to be defending or actively working for a submission...those are the guidelines for stoppage on the ground. Putting your hands in front of your face is not really defending if you aren't trying to get out of a bad position.
