I started out as an independent contractor doing personal training. The owner had an alcohol problem and got thrown in prison for drunk driving. He ran from the cops and they had to blow out his tires with spike strips. Two years in prison so his family shutdown the business. They had keep it open to keep him out of trouble. It was just me and him running it. With him gone, they lost interest in it and I was out of a job. I had no intentions of going back and working for a commerical gym. They rape you of your profits. Anyway, I work security for one of the largest companies of the world right now. It's a great place to pick up clients because their are plenty of wealthy women willing to spend money for training. Home visits are what I am limited to until another friend starts up her own personal training studio. I still have student loans to pay off from school so I don't want to get myself too far into debt with opening up my own place.
