You'd definitely need some high tech, high priced hard drive too cause there sure as hell not any normal retail hard drive thats going to be able to write fast enough to be able to even take advantage of the full speed of something like that.

Well flash hard drives are rapidly becoming larger and larger while the prices are declining. Within a few years regular hard drives will probably be a thing of the past.

Yeah I got a 500GB external hard drive less than a year ago for $150. I remember when I was a kid and we bought a 1GB internal hard drive for like $400, times are changing quickly!
