Question Anyone see Larry King tonight?

I watch LK don't ask why, most of the time just making fun of why the fvck his old ass hasn't retired yet.

Tonight as boring as it was to watch, I've never been that disturbed by one of his shows watching these mormon women. I understand this *may be a sensitive topic and forum rules seem to change too much for me to keep up.

So I'll refrain from any bashing for now.

My question is (and the debates obviously open to any other ideas/comments)

Do you think the reports of this mormon child being molested was something the FBI fabricated to ease the general publics response to them taking the 416 children?
Because they can't find the original complaintant?

I'm not trying to create a conspiracy. But I was thinking, as secluded as this cult/religion is, outside society really has no access to any real facts. Its obvious if you listen to the interviews how hard it must be to probe these people. And if they're not blowing buildings up I suppose for a while society just didn't care. But if we discover its a secret society developed to molest children on the grounds of God, thats another story.

And I can see how this could become a problem to the FEDS. And probable cause would be mandatory (by law) to grant themselves access to information about whats really going on in these communities.

Just what are peoples thoughts on this? I personally think they should lock all the wives in a room with Paris Hilton & at some point a mass suicide would be inevitable. Men can't mate, mormon community over.

Dude I call Larry King the "anti-shoulder".

If you look at his shoulders from him leaning on his desk for 60 years they have actually sunken in to the point where the drop right by his neck.

this isnt a mormon issue. this is the most ignorant post ever. those peole were banned fom the church by their prophet. just because some f'd up people believe in having more than 1 wife doesnt mean all mormons should be condemned.

Exactly. They aren't Mormons. They chose to break away from the LDS church because they wanted to continue polygamy, which was banned a long time ago.

No I was talking about the phonecall from the unidentified person.
But still, since posting this thread I thought of a few great reasons why there was no way in hell the feds could have set this up.

I just thought it was odd how one week the leader is captured on AMW than a few weeks later they're raiding these compounds.

    Their "prophet".

You mean Warren Jeffs? The guy who's picture is scattered all over their ranches and will prob be in prison till he dies?

You assuming I know more than what I'm talking about is no real reason to call it "ignorant" BECAUSE ignorant implies a lack of accepting certain rationale which was my ENTIRE reason for posting this thread, to gain a more rational perspective on the situation.

I think a better word would be "curious" simply because I admit I DON'T KNOW the whole history, which is why I was asking. But this has NOTHING to do with polygamy and EVERYTHING to do with child abuse and molestation.

So lets not sugercoat the fact that this is a culture of women who accept and do not challenge a husbands urge to fvck his 14,15 year old daughter.

So if you want to get on the topic of "ignorant", how much less ignorant are you neglecting the real issue at hand? Like 5, 16 year old girls being pregnant, death documented as suicide when witnesses are saying otherwise. The culture as a whole is "ignorant", I also realize we are dealing with extreme sides of the religion, as in any other, but the igorance comment is not neccasary.

Well if we are getting into age of a women or girls being pregnant. How come we are not raiding every house of girls that get pregnant at an early age. Further more a 100 years ago a 14 year old girl that was married was not uncommen to anyone in the US. So why is it different now. My Great Grandma was 15 when she was married, and 16 when she had her first of 6 kids. I am certainly glad the US government didnt take her away from my Great Grandpa who was in his twenties at the time. They were together for almost 50 years before she died of breast cancer.
